Me and Dogs:
Although I truly love most animals, my real passion lies with dogs and wolves.
My background lies mainly with working dogs and although I have a particular place in my heart for German Shepherds and Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs, I genuinely love them all.
From growing up with dogs - to working in working dog kennels - being involved with rescues - running my own pet behaviour business for many years - I have gained 35+ years of experience with dogs. I also worked with wolves in a zoo for a number of years, granting me some different perspectives and understandings.
I am happy to work with dogs that may have some more challenging behaviour, contact me for a chat!
Me and Other Pets:
I really do love animals and I've had a variety of them on my own. One of my bigger passions are parrots and I was involved for many years in the largest parrot rescue here in the UK. Many parrots came through my doors for "safehousing" until they could be rehomed with new loving owners, but many also stayed. I have a vast knowledge of their behaviour, diseases, dangerous foods and items around the home, (including cookware and air fresheners) and how to care for them.
In my younger years I also had my own horses, half-bloods and North Swedish Horses, as well as taking on a few rescues for rehoming. I trained horsemanship under Buck Brannaman and Pat Parelli and my love for western riding remains strong even if I've not practised it for many years!
Some other pets I've had has been cats, (love Rex's and Ragdolls but most have been what you'd call "farm" cats!) rats and snakes!
Me as a cleaner:
I am no professional cleaner, let's get that out of the way. I do however, like a clean and tidy home, just like most other people and I think my slight OCD actually comes in handy for this part! I also love making people feel comfortable and at ease, something a neat home can help provide.
Let's face it, most of us clean what we have to, when we have to. We live busy lives and sometimes that pile of laundry or the steam-cleaning of a bathroom just have to wait. For those of you with pets, it can become even more challenging, trust me, I know! Sometimes just keeping that dog hair from turning into tumbleweed across the floor is hard work enough.
So, let me help! While you're away, whether you have pets or not, get that bathroom immaculate with a proper steam clean, finally get caught up on laundry and ironing, or go big and get your entire home spick and span by the time you come home! Check out my Services page for more information.
Just Me!
Name's Nina and I am a lady in her 50's who originates from Sweden. I moved over to the UK 2009 and I have since enjoyed living in different parts of this beautiful country, currently residing at the wonderful Wales borders.
My biggest passion are animals, as you may have guessed, but I do have other interests! I love hiking in the stunning Welsh mountains and nature, I enjoy playing darts, reading a good book, gaming, wild swimming and cooking to mention a few. I always enjoy learning new things and meeting new people.
